Q: WHAT DRIVES YOU?
A: I’m passionate about helping others discover their true potential. Each client holds the strength to overcome any obstacle; often times, it takes help to discover that strength and create change.
I graduated from the College of Charleston with a BS in Psychology and MEd in Counselor Education from the Citadel Graduate College. I am a practicing clinical counselor who specializes in working with youth, families, and adults in treating mental, behavioral, and emotional issues. My unique experience working with youth as a counselor in secondary school settings has proven to be invaluable in understanding the adolescent stage of life, and building connections with teens to create change. I work with a variety of populations in private practice and have a particular interest in helping adults struggling with life transitions, anxiety, and depression.
I have faith in the therapy process and believe that the present and future are ours to create. I work with clients to navigate the ebbs and flows of life in a way that celebrates individuality and encourages growth. I practice an approach to therapy that considers all aspects of the human experience — including mind, body, spirit, and community — and provide a partnership with my clients that is authentic and honest. Together, let's create a life of balance and purpose.
Choosing a therapist who you can build an alliance with is so important. Contact me today to learn more about me and my approach, and share a little bit about what you, or your child are going through. Together, we can determine if we are a good fit!
