I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, and reproductive related mood disorders. I have a particular interest in working with women as they navigate life transition, infertility, parenting stress, work/life balance, and self love.
I view therapy as another form of self care, just like diet and exercise. I have faith in the therapeutic process and have seen lives truly transformed. I work with clients to navigate the ebbs and flows of life in a way that celebrates individuality and encourages growth. I practice an approach to therapy that considers all aspects of the human experience — including mind, body, spirit, and community — and provide a partnership with my clients that is authentic and honest. I help clients develop the tools needed to experience the range of human emotions with a kind and accepting perspective. I utilize a collaborative approach tailored to meet each client's unique needs. At the root of my approach is a safe and non judgmental space for clients to be truly understood.
I graduated from the Citadel Graduate College with an MEd in Counselor Education and College of Charleston with a BS in Psychology. I work with women and teens specializing in anxiety, depression, women's issues, and perinatal mood disorders. I am passionate about ending the stigma around women's mental health issues, and normalizing the thoughts and emotions that can come with adjusting to life in a new role.
I live in the Charleston area with my husband and young daughter. I love animals, especially our rescue pup, Gunner. In my free time I enjoy cooking for wellness, yoga, live music, and the outdoors.

"Mom-ing" can be hard, and making time for yourself can seem even harder. Healthy mom, happy family! I aim to make the support that you need as accessible as possible. Flexible hours and video counseling are available. Babies are welcome!
