“Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakens.” -Carl Jung
As a counselor, I strive to create a space for adolescents, and adults to be heard without judgement. With a warm, compassionate, and approachable energy I am committed to creating a safe therapeutic environment. I have a passion for listening and celebrating individual uniqueness, and offer an authentic space to explore who you are. Counseling is an opportunity to slow down, tune in, and explore your internal landscape. My goal is to integrate a tailored therapeutic approach to inspire hope, find balance, and renew empowerment in your life. My experience includes working with issues including depression, life transitions, grief and loss, anxiety, self-worth, and life purpose. Together, we will have conversations to discover self-awareness and encourage healing through a collaborative effort of mind-body-commnuity wellness.
Ultimately, I believe we all have the ability to learn, grow, and renew at every point in our lives. Wellness and happiness are intertwined and therapy is an optimal place to evolve and to welcome wellness into your life. It takes courage to seek help, I feel honored to do this work and to treat your vulnerability with care, presence, and respect.
I began my journey as an LPCA at the College of Charleston earning a BS in psychology and went on to obtain an MEd in Counselor Education from The Citadel Graduate School. Outside of the counseling room I enjoy spending time with my husband, our yellow lab Stella, traveling, exploring coffee shops in Charleston, and all things outdoors!
