Q: WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT THERAPY?

A: I've always felt that well-being and happiness are intertwined, and believe that therapy is an optimal place to grow and welcome wellness into our lives.

As a counselor, I strive to create a space for children, adolescents, and adults to be heard. When working with clients, I aim to understand where they are coming from, appreciate their feelings, respect their beliefs, and be entirely invested in their success. During therapy, I will create a safe, caring, and confidential environment that comes from a place of love and empathy. Together, we will have conversations to discover self-awareness and encourage healing.

I began my journey as an LPC-I during college at the College of Charleston earning a BS in psychology and went on to obtain a Master’s Degree in school counseling and served as an elementary school counselor for 4 years while pursuing a licensure as a professional clinical counselor. I have been trained in multiple treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Art Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy.

Ultimately, I believe we all have the ability to learn, grow, and renew at every point in our lives. Wellness and happiness are intertwined; therapy is an optimal place to evolve and to welcome wellness into your life. I look forward helping you with whatever challenge you are currently facing!
